24 Oct, 11:22

Spanish football club Valencia CF has announced a new investment partnership with Pitchwise Holdings, a group of private family offices and long-term institutional investors led by experienced sports executives Ann Rodriguez and Corey Woolfolk. Pitchwise will provide €100 million in new capital, immediately available for investment in the club, and will ultimately acquire a 42% ownership stake. The deal values Valencia at €1.25 billion. The investor group includes backers linked to KKR co-founders Henry Kravis and George Roberts, as well as Penner Sports Group, owner of the NFL's Denver Broncos. Meriton Holdings will remain the majority shareholder, while Kiat Lim will continue as club president. Lim welcomed the partnership, highlighting the investors' experience in sports and long-term investment. He said the club aims to strengthen its teams, develop young talent and establish its new Nou Mestalla stadium.
